I have been constantly looking for better ways for children to learn Chinese characters. As I started to teach Mandarin Chinese at The Montessori Place in Hove, Brighton. I have had some meetings with the head teacher Rob recently. Inspired by the Montessori 3-part cards, I have created Little Dragon Mandarin Chinese 4-part cards.

I made first butch last week and used it in this week’s teaching. It has kept the kids busy and they enjoyed playing the cards. I made more this afternoon.

Here are some photos to show.

We started with pictogram visual Chinese characters. They are Chinese character radicals like building blocks which are the basics when you learn Chinese. Also, it includes pinyin, the Chinese phonetics.
